For a long time, I have kept a three-ring binder with recipes that I’ve either gleaned, been handed down or created on my own. My kids know where the tried-and-true recipes are, and that binder is their go-to for comfort food, family favorites and the essentials in life. Well, my binder was in a sad state of repair, so I decided it was time for an upgrade! I stopped by the store today and, for under $10 I was able to put together a much more organized and cleaner (why do we never wipe the pages!?) version to share with you!

I started with a new view binder and made this cute label to stick in the front. I purchased these amazing dividers that have pockets in them to hold small recipe cards or things that just need to be put away or tested before I agree to put them in the binder permanently. I already had page protectors to slide new recipes in to so they would be protected from spills and so, I was good to go!

I have 12 divider tabs:

*Breakfast

*Lunch

*Dinner

*Snacks

*Dessert

*Breads

*Condiments and Mixes

*Drinks

*Jams and Jellies

*Homemade Cleaning Products

*Homemade Health and Beauty

*For Fun (for stuff like playdough and moon dough and such)

I seriously contemplated making cute printables as dividers to share with you, but the ones with pockets are WAY better, and so practical won over cute. If you’d like a copy of the front page shown below, message me and I would be happy to send you a printable version.

Super excited to start sharing more recipes with you over the coming weeks!
